I arrived in today differently with keen senses, to listen, to taste, to sift through seeking for aromas solid enough to be touched. What yesterday took in haste I want to savour every bit of it today with the beautiful chirping in the guava tree outside my window, the laughter of children playing in the rain, the resolve in the shuffling feet of men and women rushing to work, going somewhere to grab a dollar: trying to change their lives. The smell of fresh mealies on the stove.
